Each month we've been putting together icon sets to expand the options available for Inkwell Ideas's Worldographer software program through Patreon's website. (A way to sponsor ongoing projects for a small amount each creative work or month.) This icon set includes all the classic world/kingdom icons we created for the Patreon in 2024. This set has nearly 200 icons!
You may publish maps using these icons--see the license below.
Each image is a transparent PNG so it can be imported into many image and map editors, including Worldographer. (Worldographer has a paid version and a free version which limits some features.)
Almost all the icons are drawn so even if printed using 1" hexes/squares at 300dpi they won't pixelate.
January 2024 Fauna - 22 feature icons.
February 2024 Galactic Worlds - 56 feature icons.
March 2024 Renaissance - 18 feature icons.
April was a different style.
May 2024 Retro Wasteland - 22 feature icons plus 3 terrain.
June was a different style.
July 2024 Ottoman Empire -16 icons.
August 2024 Modern Cities - 23 feature icons plus 8 textures/terrain.
September & October were different styles.
November 2024 Elemental Fire - 14 feature icons plus 11 terrain types.
December 2024 was also a different style.

License:
- The licensee may not use the art in another stock art/clip art product.
- The licensee may modify the images.
- The art may not be included in a program that makes maps or games. It can be added to the program by the end-user who purchases it him/herself.
- The art can appear in advertisements for products which use the image.
- If distributing a product with the art, the artist and product must be credited in your product as follows: 'Some map icons from [product name] by artist Keith Curtis via Inkwell Ideas.' (Replace product name with the name of the icon set you're using. ; If using multiple, list them separated by commas.)
