Worldographer Ring Lord World/Kingdom Map Icons

Add a whole new style of map icons to Worldographer! This collection adds several hundred icons to the program using this almost B&W style.  This video will show you how it is all used.

Note: We make these icons for Worldographer, but they are PNG images with transparent backgrounds which will work with most image/map editors.

Each month Inkwell Ideas makes new icon sets to expand the options available for Inkwell Ideas's Worldographer software program through Patreon's website. (A way to sponsor ongoing projects for a small amount per creative work or month.) This icon set includes a large number of map icons suitable for making world/kingdom maps.

Specifically, it includes:

• Several icons for each of 22 terrain types: mountains (with & without hills), hills (light & heavy), deciduous forest (light & heavy), evergreen forest (light & heavy), mixed forest (light & heavy), tropical forest (light & heavy), dead forest (light & heavy), marsh (light & heavy), swamp (light & heavy), sandy desert/dunes (light & heavy), rocky desert (light & heavy).  138 icons in all in a "hex rows line up" and 138 more in a "hex columns line up" format.  For example, there are four "heavy deciduous forest" hexes where the forests are clustered in different ways in the "hex rows line up" orientation and four more in the "hex columms line up" orientation.
• 18 points of interests (elf/woodland settlements, dwarf/mountain settlements, halfling/rolling hills settlements, general settlements, ruins, towers, lairs, etc.).  Each of these has an alternate darker version--pick the one that stands out better.
• Over 50 individual/small cluster terrain icons - place terrain that isn't tied to a hex. Ex: Small/medium/large clusters of trees for different types of forests; Likewise clusters or individual hills and mountains and volcanoes; swamp, marsh, and desert icons.
• 8 river mouths and 16 river sections and 4 lakes.
• 25 coastline icons.

Each image is a transparent PNG so it can be imported into many image and map editors, including Worldographer. (Worldographer has a paid version and a free version which limits some features.)

License:

• The licensee may not use the art in another stock art/clip art product.
• The licensee may modify the images.
• The art may not be included in a program that makes maps or games. It can be added to the program by the end-user who purchases it him/herself.
• The art can appear in advertisements for products which use the image.
• If distributing a product with the art, the artist and product must be credited in your product as follows: 'Some map icons from [product name] by artist Keith Curtis via Inkwell Ideas.' (Replace product name with the name of the icon set you're using. ; If using multiple, list them separated by commas.)
