NPC Portraits Deck: Castle Nobles & Staff

"You arrive at the castle." Who do your PCs meet? What adventure waits? Jump-start your creativity with a deck of characters in need of the kind of help adventurers can provide!

Each NPC has a portrait, personality, and background. A quirk makes them memorable. Each also has something they need, a secret to protect, and suggestions for leverage to manipulate them.

These system-neutral cards feature an inclusive range of ethnicities and fantasy races. Each character has a primary and a secondary role at the castle, blending history and fantasy.

Note: PDF download includes a zip of three files: One with each side of a card as its own 3.75"x2.75" page, a second which is a form-fillable version of the first, and a third file where the first four cards are on one 8.5"x11" page and the second is the backs of those cards (laid out so they can be printed front/back.) In either case, trim each card down to the standard 3.5"x2.5" card size--the extra is to allow for a "bleed". (Some extra artwork so if the front and back don't line up perfectly, the trimming still looks OK.)
